Around the world, millions of children are experiencing radically different childhoods. While some are tantrumming over not having the latest X-Box, others are wondering how they are going to make it through the day alive.
Photographer James Mollison was asked to come up with an idea for engaging with children’s rights. After considering the ideas, he found himself thinking of his bedroom: how significant it was during his childhood, and how it reflected what he had and who he was. He came up with the project Where Children Sleep – an incredible collection of stories about children from across the earth, told through portraits and pictures of their bedrooms. (с)
